Cyber-security SIG Organizational Meeting

Thursday, February 27, 2020, 5:30p.m. To 8:30p.m.

Cybersecurity SIG Overview
Cybersecurity is one of the fastest growing technology sectors today. With 11 billion currently connected Internet devices and a forecast of 20 billion connected devices by the year 2022, there has never been more access points and vulnerabilities to our sensitive and valuable data than there is today. The NY ACM Metro Cybersecurity SIG's primary mission is to be the premier forum for new and relevant cybersecurity issues plaguing industry and government sectors today. Additionally, one of the SIG's primary focus is to address the ongoing cybersecurity workforce gap making it increasingly difficult for organizations to find Cybersecurity analysts, application security experts, and security leaders at the executive level. This SIG is open to all NY Metro ACM Members looking to share best practice, concepts and share experiences and knowledge.
