Cloud Security as the New Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Model

Friday, February 26th, 2021, 12:00p.m. to 1:00p.m.

Speakers: Introduction - Michael Nizich, Ph.D. New York Institute of Technology

Keynote - Larry Karantzios – Senior System Engineer, Zscaler

Description:

The classic network perimeter security model is becoming obsolete and companies are now adopting Cloud Security as the new Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Model along with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). Zero trust network access (ZTNA) is a product or service that creates an identity and context-based logical access boundary around an application or set of applications. This removes application assets from public visibility and significantly reduces the surface area for attack. In this session we discuss the specific technology components that make cloud security possible and best practices for the implementation of cloud security solutions in an organization.
